NFL Week Four Preview by Hunter Williams
favrePackers (+11.5) at Eagles

The Eagles offense is firing on all cylinders right now.  The packers have allowed 84 points through 3 games.  One might think that this adds up to a blowout win for Philly, but we’re not so sure.  Green Bays secondary is getting shredded on a weekly basis so it makes sense that Donovan McNabb should continue his torrid streak.  However, he may be without his favorite target Donte Stallworth as he figures to be a game time decision with a hamstring injury.  The Eagles also have questions at running back as Brian Westbrook is nursing a knee injury, although it looks like he will play.  Westbrook was a one man wrecking crew last week notching 164 all purpose yards and 3 touchdowns against the 49ers.  Brett Favre and the packers come into the game on a high note after their impressive road win in Detroit last week.  The Eagles' secondary is suspect right now and we see Favre taking advantage of this on his favorite stage, Monday night football.  Philly’s rush defense took a step back last week against the 49ers giving up 123 yards and 2 scores.  Ahman Green should be able to have decent success and will figure heavily in the reception game out of the backfield.  While many are thinking that McNabb and the Eagles are unstoppable right now, we find the (-11.5) spread just a bit high. Brett Favre on primetime T.V. leads us to believe that the Pack will cover the spread.

PICK: Packers
